TOOLS REQUIRED: 3/16” Allen wrench

1. Install the windshield onto the mounting plates using the pre-assembled bolts on the mounting plates. The rubber grommets should be inserted through the holes in the windshield so that the flat round part of the grommet lays flat on both sides of the windshield. On each plate, get both tabs started before you tighten them both. (see Figure 1.1 & 1.2)

Note: Tabs should point in towards the headlight when installed correctly.

2. Loosen the mounting bolts that hold the Fats/Slims windshield to the fork clamps. Remove the windshield and set it aside.

3. Mount the sportshield just like the Fats/Slims, and tighten down all mounting bolts. (see Figure 2)

Warning: Never ride with any part of the hardware missing or loose.

CARE AND CLEANING

To clean your windshield, wash it with warm water and a mild, non-abrasive, dishwashing liquid. Use a soft cloth such as a

T-shirt or flannel cloth.

To protect your windshield, use NOVUS #2 to remove minor scratches, or use polish specially designed for plastic. NEVER use glass cleansing agents, they may cause severe damage to your windshield.

Never use any petroleum-based chemicals, or cleaning agents with ammonia.

This includes Rain-X, brake fluid, acetone and gasoline.
