Cover the front fender and gas tank with
towels to avoid possible damage during installation.
2.
Remove the headlight lens using a Phillips
screwdriver to remove the two small screws located in the lower part of the headlight. Unplug the light and carefully set it aside.
3. Carefully loosen the quick-change mounting
points and safely remove the fats/slims from the
motorcycle and
place it in a safe location, for proper storage use a Memphis Shades windshield
storage bag part #MEM9080 for fats/slims and part #MEM9085 for sportshields.
3. Install the mounting plates
on the windshield using the bolts that are pre-assembled on the mounting
plates. The rubber grommets
should be inserted through the holes in the windshield so the flat round washer
part of the grommet lays flat on each side of the windshield. On each plate,
get both tabs started before you tighten either. The mounting tabs should be pointing out towards the edges of the
windshield when installed properly.

4. Loosen
the four mounting points on the brackets, slip the windshield mounting plates
onto the brackets, adjust the angle and tighten all mounting
bolts. Re-install the headlight and lens and tighten all mounting brackets and
bolts.
5. Re-install
the headlight and lens and tighten all mounting brackets and bolts.
NEVER RIDE WITH ANY HARDWARE MISSING OR LOOSE.

Care and Cleaning Instructions
To clean your windshield,
use only warm water and a mild non-abrasive, dishwashing liquid. Use a soft
cloth, such as a T-shirt or flannel cloth. To protect your windshield, please
use Novus #2 to remove minor scratches,
or use a polish like Memphis Shades Shinola
which is specially designed for plastic windshields; glass cleansing agents
will cause severe damage to your windshield and will void
your warranty.
Never use
any glass products, petroleum based chemicals, or cleaning agents with ammonia,
bleach or any harsh chemicals. This includes Rain-X, brake fluid, acetone, and
gasoline.
