MEM-9903 MOUNTING KIT

BLADERUNNER, MALIBU

ALWAYS COVER THE FRONT FENDER AND GAS TANK TO AVOID DAMAGE

*INSTALLATION IS EASIEST WITH A SECOND PERSON*

Tools required:  3/16” Allen wrench (included)

1.                  Loosely attach the four, rod collar assemblies to the windshield using the santoprene grommets. The rubber grommets should be inserted through the holes in the windshield so that the grommet lays flat on each side of the windshield. (See Figure 1.1 & 1.2)

2.                  Insert the short ends of the longer rods into the upper rod collars, making the ends flush. Move the rods around until they intersect the handlebars and look good, so you can see where to mount the handlebar clamps. (In some cases you may want to use the other rods, as they are interchangeable).

3.                  Loosely mount the handlebar clamps. (On 7/8” bars, use the sizing bands provided). (See Figure 2)

4.                  Slip the upper mounting rods into the rod holders on the handlebars.

5.                  Insert the short ends of the shorter rods into the lower rod collars, making the ends flush. Move them around until they intersect the fork legs and look good. (Make sure that no part of the hardware contacts the tank when the front wheel is turned all the way in either direction).

6.                  Loosely attach the adjustable fork clamps to the fork legs. (See Figure 3) Then connect the lower mounting rods.

7.                  While everything is still loose, carefully check tank clearance, shield height/angle and alignment and make sure nothing is in a bind. Tighten everything.

NEVER ride with any part of the mounting hardware missing or loose.
