TOOLS REQUIRED: 5/16” Allen Wrench or 6MM Allen Wrench (provided)

3/16” Allen Wrench (provided)

1. Attach the mounting plates to the windshield using the four pre-assembled bolt and button nut assemblies provided.

The rubber grommets should be inserted through the holes in the windshield so that the flat round part of the grommet lays flat on each side of the windshield (see figures 1&2)

2. Locate the original upper and lower mounting bolts on both sides of the front cover. Remove all four of them and

set the thin aluminum strips located behind them aside for re-installment. (See figure 3)

3. Using the new top and bottom mounting bolts (see figure 4). Loosely re-install the thin aluminum strip.

Note: Upper bolts are the longer. Lower bolts are the shorter two (picture is shown with optional lowers spacers)

4. Install the windshield by slipping the mounting plates into the grooves between the spacers. Tighten all the mounting bolts.

Care and Cleaning Instructions

To clean your windshield, use only warm water and a mild non-abrasive, dishwashing liquid. Use a soft cloth, such as a T-shirt or flannel cloth. To protect your windshield, please use Novus #2 to remove minor scratches, or use a polish like Memphis Shades Shinola which is specially designed for plastic windshields; glass cleansing agents will cause severe damage to your windshield and will void your warranty.

Never use any glass products, petroleum based chemicals, or cleaning agents with ammonia, bleach or any harsh chemicals. This includes Rain-X, brake fluid, acetone, and gasoline
